Pay for the thinking.
Never for your own data.
Free is a real product, not a trailer. Pro adds the layer that reasons about your money. Ultra stops you from typing at all. Prices live in the App Store and Google Play, never on a page that can go stale.
A paywall that behaves.
Most apps make leaving expensive. This one makes it boring, which is the point. These four rules hold on every screen, in every tier.
- Turning a switch off is always allowedEvery premium feature can be disabled. You are never forced to keep something on because you paid for it once.
- Your data is never held hostageEditing or deleting data you already have is never gated. A lapsed subscriber is never locked out of their own records, and never trapped inside them.
- You see what you are buyingGated screens render for real, blurred behind the paywall. You look at the actual feature with your actual data, not a marketing sheet that bounces you out.
- Seven days, freeA full week of Pro or Ultra before anything is charged. Long enough for a pay cycle to actually happen.
Every switch, side by side.

Ultra is a strict superset of Pro. Upgrading never costs you a feature.
What people notice first.
I stopped typing. The bank texts land, the app files them, and the month is basically already written by the time I open it. I went from three abandoned finance apps to one I actually keep.
Two weeks in Vietnam, everything logged in dong, everything totalled back home in rupees. I did not do a single conversion by hand, and for once I knew exactly what the trip cost the day I landed.
One number on the home screen: what I can spend today without wrecking the month. That is the whole thing I ever wanted from a budgeting app, and nobody else just says it.
Paid cash at a chai stall, raised my wrist, said “spent 40 on chai by cash”, and kept walking. The one it would have caught is the one everybody forgets.
I turned on airplane mode and used it for an entire flight, insights and all. That was the moment I believed the offline claim, rather than just reading it on a website.
A weird refund SMS from my bank went to the review queue instead of being logged as an expense. It asked me instead of guessing. That is the first time an app has earned trust by admitting it was unsure.
The hard ones,
answered without hedging.
Nine questions people actually ask before they trust a finance app with a year of their life. No asterisks.
No. There is no bank login, no Plaid, no screen-scraping, and no place in the app where you could hand over a credential even if you wanted to.
What it does instead is read the transaction SMS your bank already sends you, on your device, where that message already lives. Nothing is fetched. Nothing is forwarded.
If your bank doesn't text (plenty don't), you import a statement file instead: CSV, OFX or QIF. Same parser, same review step, same privacy.
On your phone, in a local database. That's the whole answer.
There is no table on any server with your transactions in it. Not encrypted-at-rest on our infrastructure, not there at all. We could not produce your spending history if someone asked us to, because we have never had a copy of it.
It's on-device intelligence: rule-based, deterministic, and it runs with airplane mode switched on. Try it. The Insights hub works at 30,000 feet.
No cloud model. No API call. No prompt containing your salary sitting in someone's inference log. The same input always produces the same insight, and you can see the reasoning that got there.
We think that's a feature, not a compromise. An insight you can't reproduce isn't an insight; it's a horoscope.
You take an encrypted backup (AES-256-GCM) and you restore it on the new phone. That's in the free tier.
Pro adds optional Cloud Sync, and the important word there is your: it syncs to your own iCloud Drive or Google Drive folder, under your account, with your storage quota. We never hold the file, and we can't read it. The encryption key never leaves your device.
Sometimes. Banks write SMS like they're being charged by the character. The interesting question is what happens next.
When it isn't sure, it asks. A parse it doesn't trust (chiefly an unclear direction, money in versus money out) goes to the Review Queue with everything it managed to extract, rather than being quietly saved.
Booking income as an expense is worse than asking. A queue you clear in ten seconds beats a month of analytics you have to distrust.
It's in Trash, and it will be there for 30 days.
Deleting is soft everywhere: transactions, budgets, categories, debts, goals, recurring rules, even inbox alerts. There is no screen in the app where a wrong tap permanently destroys something.
Yes. All 153 ISO 4217 currencies, generated from CLDR rather than hand-typed, so the symbol, the decimal precision and the grouping are right for each one, including the currencies that don't use two decimals.
Your default is detected from your region, and formatting follows your locale. Statement import (CSV / OFX / QIF) works everywhere, including the many countries where SMS-based import doesn't apply.
Entirely. Every screen, every calculation, every insight.
There was never an online mode to degrade from. Offline isn't a fallback we bolted on. It is the only mode the app has ever had.
You keep your data. And, crucially, you keep being able to edit and delete all of it. Editing and deleting are never gated. Not in any tier, not in any state, not ever.
The premium switches turn off. That's the entire consequence. Nothing gets locked away, nothing gets held hostage, and you are never trapped inside a read-only copy of your own records to pressure you into paying again.
